Green Power Negros Philippines Inc. (GPNGPI):

Green Power Negros Philippines Inc., is a Philippine Company developing a 35 Megawatt multi-fuelled biomass, grid connected, decentralized, renewable energy power plant in Sagay City, Negros Occidental in the Philippines. The biomass power plant will utilize sustainable biomass resources such as agricultural crop and food processing wastes and does not use biomass that competes with the human food chain. The GPNGPI biomass power plant embraces the global paradigm shift towards the development and use of clean, cost effective, renewable energy in the form of electricity: Clean energy generation that delivers extraordinary Socio-economic development, helps to mitigate climate change and avert the looming energy crisis that faces the Philippines today.

Green Power Negros Philippines Inc. entered into a strategic financing and technical Memorandum of Agreement ("MOA") with CATIC Beijing Co., Ltd., a top 20 Chinese State Owned Enterprise ("SOE") and National Bio Energy Co., Ltd., of China ("NBE") on the 6th December 2010 to deliver the GPNGPI power plant and additional Philippine based projects. Key technology will be provided by the DP CleanTech. Green Power Negros Philippines Inc. is targeted to start operation in Q3 2013.

National Bio Energy ("NBE") currently owns and operates 25 biomass power plants in China that deliver 500 MWe of base load electricity. NBE are concurrently building an additional 15 biomass power plants that will deliver an aggregate 1,000 MWe of biomass power by 2011. NBE has secured a $USD 4.1 billion credit line with the China Construction Bank to bring their biomass generation capacity to 3,000 MW by 2015.

Green Power Negros Philippines Inc. is a subsidiary Company of Global Green Power PLC Corporation ("GGPC") who have targeted the Philippines for the construction and operation of biomass power plant projects of between 17.5 to 35 megawatts of electricity (MWe). The opening up of the Philippines electricity market via the Wholesale Electricity Spot Market (“WESM”) called “Open Access”, the recent promulgation of the Renewable Energy Act of 2008 and the abundance of readily available biomass as a fuel source makes the Philippines one of the most attractive markets for renewable biomass power generation, globally.

Green Power Negros Philippines Inc. Biomass Power Plants are Renewable Energy (“RE”) Infrastructure that deliver extraordinary benefits to our host communities, local and national government as well as the environment. GPNGPI has received very strong support from the Provincial Government of Negros Occidental, Sagay City Local Government Unit ("LGU") and surrounding City LGU's.

Wherever Global Green Power PLC Corporation builds a biomass power plant, the money previously extracted from the community to purchase foreign fossil fuels such as oil and coal to provide power are instead injected back into the local community. This is achieved through GGPC's purchase of biomass agricultural wastes to use as an alternative fuel source that displaces conventional fossil fuel power generation. These farming wastes are generally burnt or left to rot in the fields. The sustainable purchase of agricultural waste is environmentally friendly and provides a significant additional income to the local farming and host community whilst mitigating climate change.

 THE BOTTOM LINE:

Global Green Power PLC Corporation = Renewable Energy + Stable Power Supply + Socio-Economic Development + Energy Security + Sound Stewardship of the Environment.

Green Power Negros Philippines Inc 35 MW Biomass Power Plant:

  1. Delivers Renewable Energy at prices competitive to Fossil Fuel energy.
  2. Delivers Stable, Decentralized, Renewable Energy Base-load Power that stabilizes our host power distribution grid and fosters economic development.
  3. Delivers an estimated 3,400 direct and indirect jobs for every 35 Megawatt Biomass Power Plant.
  4. Delivers Energy Security to the Philippines through the utilization of local, indigenous, renewable fuel resources displacing and estimated $USD 2.9 Billion of imported diesel fuel over a 25-year period.*
  5. Delivers Foreign Exchange Savings to the Philippines through obviating the necessity to purchase foreign fossil fuels.
  6. Delivers an estimated Php 830 Million ($USD 18 Million) in the first year of operation and Php 35 Billion ($USD 800 Million) over 25-years per 35 MW plant to the local farming and host community through Global Green Power purchase of local fuels and associated ancillary services such as transport and operations.
  7. Delivers Climate Change Mitigation through Global Green Power use of crop residues such as rice straw, cane tops and other agricultural waste residues that are currently left in the field to rot causing Methane or burnt in the field causing Carbon Dioxide: Both Green House Gasses (“GHG”) that significantly contribute towards Climate Change.
  8. Delivers Agricultural Development working with the National Government and local community to develop row and harvest biomass local fuel crops on marginal lands that are currently unproductive. These crops help to Mitigate Climate Change.
  9. Delivers Social Integration & Development through the provision of jobs, economic opportunity and socio-economic development.
